So when you try to buy new design software from Adobe and you hear that you won’t get a box with discs containing your software anymore – you now have to subscribe to use the program which is running from their server. You won’t be able to access your files if you haven’t paid the necessary £££s for an up-to-date subscription.

Or the XBox One, which has to be online at least once a day. Keep you checked in. That’s not great for a lot of people in the world – or even people who don’t wanna be online all the fucking time. Looks like the first steps for microsoft taking it all ‘to the cloud’.

Then you have all that info the CIA, through PRISM and the UK Government (one of the most clamped-down nations in the ‘free’ world) have access to, from Google and Facebook. As for fucking Apple! As we all know you can’t use their shit unless they’re sure you shelled for the latest versions of all their bollocks, soft or hardware.

It feels like these mega-corps have made a decision to, as Charles Saatchi might have it put a ‘playful grip’ on us.
