Ok thanks for the responses. I’m getting this: if ‘cunt’ is frequently used (for comic affect and as an extreme adjective) then there’s a precedent - and the female can’t suddenly flip it and deem the word as unacceptable.

NB. One reply said a better word could have been used - but sometimes someone is acting in a way one can only describe with a certain word. Cunt. This is the crux of the matter. If the person was being anything less than a ‘cunt’, believe me that a lesser word would have been used.
